Red White + Bluezz is an experience you don’t want to miss?

As I sat at my table, sipping
on the first of three glasses of a white wine flight, I glanced across the restaurant and noticed the man dusting the lighting fixtures on the other side of the room. Normally a man dusting a lighting fixture might not catch my attention, but in this case, the man was dressed in an immaculate suit. He went about dusting in a precise and deliberate manner, and the spectacle of such a polished man handling dusting duties raised my curiosity so much that I had to ask my server about him. It turns out he is the managing partner of the restaurant! Imagine that, the managing partner of a restaurant dusting the fixtures! One thing is for sure, with this much attention to detail placed in the small things, you can be sure the dining will be exquisite. The man was Bryan Gallyot, and the restaurant is Red White + Bluezz.
This is one of the most amazing and versatile restaurants in all of Pasadena.
Red White + Bluezz combines a top notch restaurant with a social wine bar and live jazz club. We were very impressed with the quality of food. The Kobe Steak burgers are amazing! Many high end restaurants serve a Kobe Steak burger, but few do it as well as Red White + Bluezz. The burgers are incredibly flavorful, juicy and perfectly spiced. Due to their size, you may choose to eat the burger open faced with a knife and a fork, like a good steak is normally enjoyed.

Personally, I took the challenge of assembling the burger and eating it with my hands, like a real burger. Assembled the burger was about four inches tall, so if you try to eat it the traditional way, you better open wide! Their happy hour menu is available 11am-7pm, Mon-Sat, so this is the perfect place to come for a long lunch or right after work. The staff is friendly and well-informed on the wine list and the gourmet menu. One of the most availability to the managers and partners of the restaurant. Rarely do you see owners mixing and mingling with the patrons as if they were all best friends, but on a regular basis, I observed patrons walking through the door and being greeted on a first-name basis by Bryan and Russ (the owner). When you have a partner in the business leading such an example, it creates a friendly customer service experience throughout the establishment
(kudos to Bryan and Russ). The staff in its entirety keeps the food, drinks, and the atmosphere itself fluid and alive. During the day, Red White + Bluezz is an amazing place frequented for its food, service and ambiance.

When the sun goes down, Red White + Bluezz turns into a exciting live jazz club. The back of the restaurant transforms into a cozy and sexy jazz club with a separate bar, amazing menu, indoor and outdoor seating and of course, stellar wines. It is truly a treat to sit outside on a warm California night and listen to live jazz with some great wine, food and company.
Red White + Bluezz is: upscale, without being pompous; friendly, without being informal;
and chic, without being extravagant. The food, management and staff create a complete dining event which we can highly recommend.
From day to night, Red White + Bluezz is an experience you don’t want to miss. By the way, when you see the immaculate man (aka Bryan), tell him we sent you. We promised him we would tell all our friends about the place, and since we are all Angelenos, we are all friends...right?
