Koi is a Japanese restaurant with amazing food. So why is it not in the cuisine section, you ask? Because on a regular basis you will find the Hollywood elite eating there. Many hot spots in LA are actually some of the best restaurants in town, and Koi is a perfect example. Koi has an impressive interior. Warm candlelight infuses the restaurant from its plush seating areas to its bamboo accents. The owners have locations in New York, Las Vegas, and Bangkok, which means that they understand how to operate and create a successful establishment. They classify their décor as a “sophisticated blend of feng shui and modern elegance.” Fireplaces and waterscapes all combine to create the tranquil Zen-like ambiance of Koi. Expect to spend around $100/person for dinner and a couple of drinks, but if you start sampling their amazing menu, you can easily go well over that amount. With the world-class food, and first-class atmosphere, Koi is much more than a restaurant; it is truly a sizzling hot spot of Los Angeles.
